(1) When a detainee or prisoner is admitted into a prison, he shall be searched and if any weapon or prohibited article is found, it shall be seized.
(2) According to the prevailing Nepalese law, if the goods that are allowed to be taken inside the prison by the prisoner or sent inside the prison for his/her own use are more than what is needed for his/her daily behavior, the goods should be given to the prisoner or the prisoner when needed.
